About FosterCare UK

FosterCare UK was founded in April 2007 by a group of individuals who have been working together in the independent fostering industry for many years.

We have responded to the growing demand to provide a local supportive fostering service and have invested heavily in resources and facilities that will ensure unrivalled support as well as addressing local needs by offering fostering solutions across the South East.

Through our experiences, knowledge base and understanding of the complexities related to fostering, we have shaped our service to give a highly responsive, flexible and integrated approach.

Our clear focus on working in partnership has enabled us to appoint a range of associate practitioners and organisations, experienced in Social Care, Health, Education, Training, Recruitment and Retention. A Service Level Agreement is in place for each area to complement and support our individual service plans and strategic direction.

A consistent and coherent approach is vital to foster carers when undertaking this demanding and challenging task and in the continued development of our services we are truly focusing on support to the foster carer, their families and the young people in placement.

The service is managed and co-ordinated in a way that not only ensures but promotes secure, safe and stable placements, in line with the Every Child Matters outcomes agenda.
